Serving as the social hub of Reston, this vibrant mixed-use development officially arrived in 1990, enticing residents with its blend of shops, offices, and residences ever since. Located just off the Dulles Toll Road, RTC brought us the iconic glass-covered pavilion in 1993, making it a destination for fundraisers, business meetings, catered events, and summer concerts alike.

Wondering how to get around? Not to fear: The Silver Line Metro was opened in 2022, connecting RTC to other areas in Reston as well as Ballston, Dulles, McLean, and Washington, DC. Residents also have access to the Fairfax Connector, a public bus service that carries tens of thousands of passengers on nearly 90 routes daily, and Capital Bikeshare, which has 14 docking stations in and around RTC.
